1. Eligibility to Donate

To make a donation on GoAidMe, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old or of legal age in your country.

  • Use your own valid payment method and provide accurate billing details.

  • Comply with all local laws and regulations related to charitable giving.

 

2. Voluntary Donations

  • All donations made through GoAidMe are voluntary, non-refundable, and at your discretion.

  • You understand that GoAidMe does not guarantee the success, actions, or outcomes of any campaign.

 

3. Use of Funds

  • Funds are intended to be used solely for the purpose stated by the campaign creator.

  • GoAidMe conducts review and verification processes, but cannot guarantee how all funds will be spent.

  • Donors are encouraged to review campaign details and updates before donating.

 

4. Security & Data Protection

  • Your payment and personal information are processed securely using encrypted and trusted technology.

  • GoAidMe does not store your credit card or mobile wallet details.

 

5. Refunds

  • Donations are typically non-refundable.

  • In exceptional cases (e.g., proven fraud), GoAidMe may investigate refund requests.
    Final decisions will be at the sole discretion of GoAidMe.

 

6. Prohibited Donations

You may not:

  • Donate using stolen or unauthorized payment methods.

  • Use GoAidMe for money laundering or other illegal purposes.

Such activities will result in account suspension and may be reported to relevant authorities.

 

7. Disclaimers

  • GoAidMe is a platform provider and does not directly oversee or control the actions of campaign creators.

  • We are not responsible for any misuse of funds by third parties.

  • All donations are made at the donor’s own risk.

  • Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

For Campaign Creators

By creating a fundraising campaign on our platform, you agree to the following Terms of Use. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

 

1. Eligibility

To create a campaign, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old or of legal age in your jurisdiction.

  • Provide accurate, complete, and verifiable information.

  • Use the platform for lawful and honest fundraising purposes only.

 

2. Campaign Responsibilities

As a campaign creator, you agree to:

  • Only raise funds for real, truthful, and legitimate needs.

  • Provide regular updates to donors on the progress and use of funds.

  • Use all funds strictly for the purpose stated in your campaign.

  • Respond promptly to inquiries from GoAidMe or donors about your campaign.

 

3. Prohibited Campaigns

You may not use GoAidMe to fundraise for:

  • Illegal activities or causes.

  • False, misleading, or fraudulent purposes.

  • Hate speech, violence, discrimination, or harassment.

  • Political lobbying or election-related funding, unless legally compliant.

 

4. Verification & Documentation

GoAidMe may request the following at any point:

  • Proof of identity and residence.

  • Documentation supporting your campaign’s purpose.

  • Updates, receipts, or reports showing how funds were used.

Failure to provide this information may result in campaign suspension or removal.

 

5. Fees and Payouts

  • A standard platform and payment processing fee applies to all donations.

  • You must provide valid payout details (e.g., bank or mobile money).

  • Payouts are subject to verification and may be withheld if fraud is suspected.

 

6. Content Ownership & Rights

  • You retain ownership of your campaign content but grant GoAidMe a license to use, reproduce, and promote it.

  • You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of your content.

 

7. Termination

GoAidMe reserves the right to suspend or terminate any campaign that violates these terms or raises concerns over authenticity, safety, or legal compliance.

 

8. Liability Disclaimer

GoAidMe is a platform provider and is not liable for the actions of campaign creators. Donors contribute at their own discretion. Misuse of funds or dishonesty may result in legal action and platform ban.

 

9. Changes to Terms

GoAidMe may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.
